STEP 1 - Contact Me

The first step to getting your movie idea turned into a Hollywood script is to contact me ASAP and let me know you have a movie idea you want to turn into a Hollywood script.

STEP 2 - Protect Your Movie Idea

The second step would be to make sure no one steals your movie idea. So, I will sign a simple agreement that states I will not talk about your movie idea to anyone.

STEP 3 - Share Your Movie Idea

The third step is to share your movie idea with me. You and I will review everything about your movie idea and together we will decide if STEP 4 is necessary.

STEP 4 - Order Idea Development   (if necessary)

The fourth step is to order Idea Development.

After you and I have reviewed everything about your movie idea, we both may determine more information must be added to your movie idea. This means that you must use my Idea Development Service.

Why? There is just not enough of your movie idea to actually turn into a large Hollywood script. This is not a big problem and it happens all the time....no big deal. It does not mean your idea is not good. It simply means that I will have to take your idea through a longer idea development process.

What is the Idea Development Service? The Idea Development Service is required if your movie idea does not have enough supporting information to convert it into a Hollywood script. The cost of this service is $3,000.00.

The Idea Development Service includes 2 - 4 weeks of phone or in-person consultation appointments between you (the idea/story owner) and me (the Hollywood script writer). I use this time to gather the significant amounts of information needed to write a feature length Hollywood script based on your idea. These meetings are typically based on a total of (10) one hour phone or in-person conferences. (Monday through Friday or weekends if necessary)

The $3,000.00 fee is paid in full and in advance before the idea development service is begun and scheduled. An agreement is signed by you and I in order to protect your movie idea. The agreement makes sure your movie idea is your legal property and not mine.

Once the idea development service is complete, I will provide you with a complete summary/outline of your Hollywood script (approximately 15 - 25 scenes). This summary/outline will include all of the intricate, behind-the-scenes techniques and literary devices needed to create a unique and entertaining Hollywood script based on your movie idea. (For example, your summary/outline will include a theme, genre, story structure with plot points and plot twists, character development, significant amounts of conflict, and most importantly transformation.)

Once the story development process is complete you can then proceed to STEP 5. This is where you order your professionally written Hollywood script (based on your new, fully developed movie idea).

Reminder: When you order Idea Development, you ARE NOT ordering your completed Hollywood script. In Step 4, you are ordering an in-depth summary/outline. This enhanced summary/outline will be created from your movie idea and transformed into a larger concept. This larger concept is needed to write your Hollywood script.

STEP 5 - Order Hollywood Script  (based on your movie idea)

If you and I have determined that you have provided enough information about your movie idea, you can skip STEP 4 and you will not need to go through the longer idea development process.

The fifth step is to order my First Draft Service. This is the service where I craft a professional Hollywood script for you based on your movie idea. In this step, you are actually ordering what the entertainment industry calls a FIRST DRAFT. The cost of writing your first draft is $6,000.00.

The first draft of your Hollywood script will meet all of Hollywood's professional screenwriting standards. Your first draft will cover all areas of current Hollywood storytelling concepts including: theme, genre, story structure with plot points and plot twist, complete character development and arcs of main and secondary characters, and most importantly entertaining & original dialogue.

The first draft of your Hollywood script will be completed within 4 - 6 weeks based on the summary/outline obtained during the Idea Development stage in Step 4. The first draft will be created using standard screenplay format (12 point, Courier font, margins no less than 1", etc.) and at a length of 110 pages.

No additional rewrites will be included in this fee for the first draft of your completed Hollywood script. Any additional rewrites will be based on a separate, additional order and agreement. It will be based on the amount of time and writing that will be required to complete the rewrite.

The fee of $6,000.00 can be made in two installments of $3,000.00 payments. Once the first installment is completed, you will be given the first half of your Hollywood script. Once the second installment of $3,000.00 is paid, you will be given your entire Hollywood script.

STEP 6 Legally Protect Your Hollywood Script

After you receive your entire Hollywood script, it is highly recommended that you register your Hollywood script with the U.S. Copyright Office and the Writers Guild of America. Here are the links to their web sites.
